A businessman, an attorney, and a foster mom recognized the need for a partnership with the local Child Protective Services, particularly for those times when a child enters foster care or finds themselves in between placements.

The need for something more than an office or conference room in which to spend those initial hours after being removed from the only version of “home” they have known. The need for a loving volunteer and a comfortable environment when their world seems to be falling apart. These children who are entering foster care, through no fault of their own, need a safe place to land while they await placement with a family.

The vision of providing a “greenhouse,” a structure used for the cultivation and protection of these tender lives, stirred this team into action. WE recognized the need; now YOU can help us build it.
